1. Polyester Filament
The Crude oil fluctuated slightly. The cost of polyester raw materials fluctuated.
At the moment, factories mainly keep prices table. The polyester filament market still has good support from the downstream demand, and factories’ operating rates remained stable.
It’s expected that the cost will fluctuate within a certain range in the short term, and prices of polyester products will fluctuate accordingly.
It’s suggested that you make purchasing plans in advance based on your firm demand. In the long term, it’s necessary to pay attention to fluctuations in raw material cost, polyester load, and the situation of production and sales.
2. PSF
The PSF market performed general and deals were based on negotiation. Crude oil in the night session dropped, while the polyester raw materials and PSF futures rebounded. Morning quotations overall kept stable. The downstream was mainly waiting and seeing or stocking up moderately. It’s suggested that you purchase as per your firm demand.
3. VSF
On Monday, the VSF market performed general. Prices are negotiable for firm orders. It’s recommended that you keep a certain level of inventory to avoid any risks.
4. Spandex
Considering various factors both domestically and internationally, all Chinese spandex factories are planning to lower their capacity, including HUAFON. They are planning to reduce capacity by 20%~40%, which would depend on the market condition. It’s suggested that you plan ahead as per your firm orders and demand.
5. Nylon
The pure benzene had a weak support from the cost side. The CPL didn’t have a sufficient supply, but the price went down slowly because the downstream was unwilling to purchase at high prices. The price of conventional spinning spot chips dropped as the cost went down, and the downstream was mainly waiting and seeing. High-speed spinning spot chips remained stable. For nylon yarn, the cost of raw materials were expected to decrease, so deals were based on firm demand. The price of PA66 went down, and there was a promotion.
