1. Polyester Filament
On the first trading day after Christmas, Crude Oil rose sharply, it is largely in consequence of tense geopolitical situation in the Middle East. The cost of polyester raw materials increased accordingly.
Regarding product side, factories increased price by 50-150cny/ton today. The production and sales were pretty good on Monday. Currently, the factory still have high operation rates because of the enough rigid demands. It’s expected that the cost will keep strong shock. In the long term, it’s necessary to pay attention to fluctuations in raw material cost, polyester load, and the situation of production and sales. So it’s suggested that you make purchasing plans in advance to avoid unexpected risks.
2. PSF
The PSF market performed general and deals were based on negotiation. Crude oil in the night session went up sharply, and the polyester raw materials and PSF futures fluctuated strongly. Morning quotations overall kept stable but negotiating space was narrowed. It’s suggested that you purchase as per your firm demand to avoid risks.
3. VSF
The recent situation of signing orders is good, and factories quickly enter the order-execution status. Overall, the VSF market keeps stable and factories have no pressure for inventory. It’s suggested that you can purchase as per your firm demand.
4. Spandex
Currently the spandex market performed general. The transaction is based on negotiation. It’s recommended that you procure based on your orders and demand to avoid any risks like tight supply.
5. Nylon
The price of benzene is tended to be stable, while the supply situation of CPL is still tight. Conventional spinning chips have short inventory and partial production has been reduced for the shortage of raw material, then the price rises accordingly but downstream keeps watch-and-see attitude. High-speed spinning chips remained stable. It's recommended you keep some inventory in case of unexpected risks such as tight supply.
