1. Polyester Filament
Last week, the Crude Oil fluctuated and ended up with a sharp rise and kept rising on Monday. The cost of polyester raw materials increased accordingly.
On production side, the production and sales was pretty good, reaching the maximum value of 550%. Because the cost is rising and there is no heavy inventory pressure, factories would like to increase prices and narrow the negotiating space.
It’s expected that the cost side will fluctuate with a rising trend in the short term. In the long term, it’s important to pay attention to fluctuations in raw material prices, polyester load, and the situation of production and sales.
2. PSF
Last week, the PSF market had a good trading volume, and this trend continued on Monday. The production and sales reached around 120%. The Crude Oil went up during the weekend, plus the PSF futures increased as well, factories increased 50-100cny/ton and narrowed negotiating space. It’s suggested that you can buy as per orders or stock up moderately.
3. VSF
The VSF market was mainly stable. The overall atmosphere remained strong and positive. It’s recommended that you stock up properly within your risk tolerance range.
4. Spandex
Recently, prices of most spandex products are stable. Some products have a tight supply and the prices have increased. It’s suggested that you purchase as per your firm order and demand.
5. Nylon
The price of pure benzene went up. The spot market of CPL had a rise in trading volume, and the market mainly procured when prices were low. The contract prices of high speed spinning were mainly stable. Part of quotations of spot goods were low, and the market bought the dip. The conventional spinning market lowered the prices slightly. The nylon yarn market had a general negotiation atmosphere. The downstream market focused on replenishment. It’s important to pay attention to the trend of bulk commodities and stock up appropriately when prices are low.
